Title:  ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Summary:

The Sales Account Director will be responsible for leading and directing all aspects of the sales strategy and its execution for a segment of Key Accounts including hyperscalers and service providers. She/He is responsible for developing & implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth targets, build and maintain strong customer relationships, drive sales performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management: Cultivate and maintain relationship with key clients. Understand their needs and business challenges and propose tailored solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for client.
  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plants to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets. Conduct regular sales meeting and sales reviews to maximize CX and secure growth.
  3. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to expand the company's customer base. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Negotiate and close high-value deals and contracts.
  4. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and potential threats. Utilize market insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as presales, marketing, product development, and finance to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Foster a collaborative and cross-functional culture within the sales organization.
  6. Pipeline Management and Forecasting: Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and ensuring accurate reporting. Provide accurate sales forecasts and projections to inform strategic decision-making.
  7. Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and agreements. Ensure contracts are accurately drafted with the support from legal.

 

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the datacenter industry
  3. Strong understanding of datacenter products and services, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  6. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for exceeding targets
  7. 10+ years in Sales/Account Management in datacenter services market
  8. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  9. Spanish language skills preferred.
